Body: well, my first overseas trip, just touched down in germany. jst spending an hour or so here before we head off again.

My Tommy was on this same flight. He called me from Germany, and again when they got to Kuwait. I was at Ft.Bragg to see them off on Jan.3rd. It was a bitterly cold and sad morning. We only had a few minutes to visit with the soldiers and didn't get to go to Green Ramp. It was hard to watch them get on the buses and pull out.
I know it was hard being this far away and having him suddenly enroute but I can sense it may have been even worse watching them leave.
I really look forward to emails, messages and phone calls now and worry when they are only a few days apart.
Godspeed our soldiers.
